Jackat's Rowan
is joining the ranks here at Jackat's Farm.
At her first trial (Breezewood)
she was Best 3-6 month puppy under Sandy Ferber…. and has done
extremely well since. In her first show as an adult at
Mason-Dixon she was Best Open Bitch and Reserve Best
Open Terrier!
Being the daughter of Sow's Ear
Julien (Bear) and Sow's Ear Clinique ("PooPee," and no, that is
not a French name), the possibilities are endless with this
bitch! Basically she has her Mother's looks (with a great coat)
and her Father's personality.
And the best thing yet is that
she has definitely inherited her father's hunting instinct. We
were hunting in Nebraska and Rowan did not need to be told what
to do. She and two other Jacks held a Ground Hog at bay
until it could be retrieved from a concrete pile. They worked
their little hearts out which was pretty cool to watch being as
it was her first time out!
