What a treat this dog has
turned out to be. At our very first show at Mason-Dixon,
Morgan won his class and took Reserve Best Puppy Dog! You
couldn't wipe the smile off of my face for a week.
I knew that I thought the sun rose and set
on him but I didn't know anyone else could see it too. What
with his short, smooth coat, and unbelievable muscle tone,
he looked to be "chiseled out of stone." Always "up" and
very confident he could strike poses that were truly amazing
even to an untrained eye.
So his career began and has been very
successful in the conformation ring, go-to-ground (where
every judge has consistently written "excellent worker"),
and believe it or not, obedience! His pedigree speaks for
itself.
| And now he is proving himself
even better than his show statistics by putting
wonderful puppies on the ground. He has been able to
produce two smooth, and two slightly broken coated
puppies out of a rough bitch with a nightmare of a
coat....none other than my foundation bitch,
Sow's Ear Clinique of JacKat's Farm. And so far,
out of thirteen puppies on the ground, out of three
different bitches, has produced eleven bitch pups
and only two dog pups! And one of those dog pups
has gone on to Singapore and is cleaning up at the
shows there and winning "Best of Breed" at the
Singapore Kennel Club last December. All and all we
are very happy with what he is producing. |
